Overview
A well-respected insurance broker who have achieved impressive growth over the last few years are now looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join their team to continue to provide an outstanding service to their expanding client base. Responsibilities Responsibility of handling claims for clients, ensuring they are processed as speedily and efficiently as possible Typically dealing with Motor, Property, EL /PL, along with PI, Marine and some HNW Deal with claims submitted efficiently, effectively and pro-actively Achieve retention by providing an excellent, professional service to the client Liaising with third parties, policy holders, insurers, solicitors, and loss adjusters Dealing with claims from cradle to grave, including negotiating all aspects of claims including credit hire from customer perspective Maintain effective internal communication through liaison with team members, external communication with Insurers and other contacts Report to Claims Manager, Directors and Account Executives the claims information Skills Ideally a background in all types of Insurance, however training would be provided in certain classes Previous experience handling Commercial Claims is essential First rate customer service skills and an ability to understand their needs Strong telephone and negotiating skills In return is the opportunity to be part of a very stable and professional claims department that are a vital part of the corporate service this broker offers. Salary for the role depends on experience but typically ranges from 28k to 35k and comes with 25 days annual leave, private medical, an annual bonus based on performance and a competitive pension.
