Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be partnering with a highly successful local manufacturing business to recruit an interim Systems Accountant for a period of 6 months. The business currently has several disjointed systems across finance, manufacturing and purchasing, and to improve the quality and efficiency of reporting across the business have invested in a new ERP suite. As Interim System Accountant you will work alongside the ERP project team to ensure that the finance workstream is correctly implemented. The integration is in full swing and with a 'go live' date in late Summer 2020, this is a hands-on role and requires strong attention to detail and a self-motivated approach. The System Accountant will be required to track all transactions from the operational workstream and ensure correct coding, amending and reconciling where required to guarantee the correct set up for financial reporting. Developing macros that allow future users to interrogate the system, as well as working with key operational users to engage and ensure understanding and then documenting these processes will also form part of this role. This interim assignment will include the post implementation period and you will be working closely with the finance team to ensure a smooth transition.
