Overview
Are you a Support Worker looking to change people’s lives? We have an opportunity available for a Support Worker to join our team based in Coventry on a 2 year fixed term contract working a minimum of 40 hours per week (some of which will be unsocial). This post includes some travel and overnight stops can be expected. You will also be included in the rota for on call cover. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £21,264 per annum plus pension and excellent benefits . As our Support Worker you will assist in the provision of an efficient and effective service to support client engagement through the delivery of day-to-day services within the Project and the community. The service aims to engage with clients to reconnect with communities and develop independent living skills, as well as helping clients to live crime-free lives. You will also support clients to support Clients to achieve the aims laid out in their Care/Support Plan. What can we offer you? - Pension 8 % - Training - Annual leave up to 30 days Responsibilities of our Support Worker: - Key work and support Clients generally within your project - Take an active role in the assessment and management of risk - Ensure that all medication within the project is managed in line with Trust policy and procedures - Supervise and monitor the behaviour of Clients and to ensure that they comply with any statutory order - Assist in the management of the referral process within the project - Ensure that both prospective and former residents are supported through visits and/or correspondence Our Murray Lodge project in Coventry offers hostel and independent flats accommodation, together with floating support, to a diverse client base with low needs, who are supported by a strong multi-disciplinary housing team.
