Overview
JustOT are looking for a permanent occupational therapist to work with our private client based in London. Oncology Occupational Therapist Competitive Salary Full Time (37.5 Hours) Job Description To effectively manage a caseload of patients across the oncology and medical specialities, using specialist clinical reasoning to recommend best course of intervention, developing comprehensive treatment plans related to patient centred goals. Principle Duties • To provide thorough assessment and treatment of patient conditions across a variety of specialities in the inpatient and outpatient setting, and to seek a second opinion in circumstances when diagnosis may be unclear. • To be the lead occupational therapist in the oncology setting, using highly specialist skills in the management of oncology patients. • To provide highly specialised occupational therapy treatment using evidence based practice and to be able to work autonomously in the delivery of oncology OT assessment and interventions. • To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work. • To maintain a high standard of professional and personal conduct, complying with the HCA code of conduct and the HCPC rules of professional conduct. Skills & Experience • HCPC Registration • Degree in Occupational Therapy • Extensive experience in Oncology • To have worked a band 7 level in an acute oncology setting If you are interested in this position then please contact infojustot.co.uk
