Overview
A highly reputable boutique, tech-focused, institutional investment fund is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their team. This is a broad compliance role requiring generalist experience within Asset Management/Funds. The role will initially work alongside two other experienced Compliance Managers but over the next couple of years will take over from them as they retire. You will then become the sole dedicated Compliance Officer for the firm, with the CFO currently holding the Controlled Functions and able to provide support where required. This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Analyst or less experienced Manager, to join a really interesting firm in a role that will allow you excellent exposure and responsibility after a period of transition where you will be able to learn from the existing Managers and fully embed yourself within the business. A legal degree/qualification is highly desirable although not essential. A degree from a well-regarded University is expected, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small, friendly, high-calibre team with a flexible approach to working in a rapidly changing environment. Experience of AIFMD, UCITS and compliance monitoring is required as a minimum.
