Overview

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant with exposure to a varied accounts position, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control duties for a 6 month temporary assignment based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the Finance Manager with all transactional ledger maintenance and assisting with monthly reporting. Duties and responsibilities will include: - Assisting with month end duties, including journals, accruals and prepayments - Purchase Ledger - responsible for processing and uploading invoices to system, and preparing for payment runs - Sales Ledger - generating invoices ready to be sent out to customers - Credit control - chasing payments, generating debtors reports and cash allocation - Bank and statement reconciliation - Working to collate information for budgeting and forecasting as well as cashflow reports - Ad-hoc duties to support the finance team The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences: - Available to start immediately or on short notice - Attention to detail in a fast-paced, challenging environment - Previous experience in a similar role in required - Strong Excel skills is desirable (Look Ups, Pivot Tables etc.) This is a fantastic opportunity for any finance individual to join a professional, forward-thinking organisation.
