Overview
IT Project Accountant - 12M FTC IT Project Accountant required to provide financial support, business partnering and control to UK and overseas IT Project teams within the insurance domain. The primary aspect of this role is to drive strong financial controls and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and project teams. Key responsibilities:- Overview of project budget information, identifying risks and opportunities by communicating with both the Project Managers and Finance Support and Management of the Planning, forecasting and 5 year strategy Close liaison with Project Management and Portfolio Leads to develop a greater understanding of Project Financials and Financial Requirements Submission of IT spend for the UK and overseas, projects and expense forecasts Working with the Project Management team to create monthly forecasts, plans etc in respect of cost and target dates for project delivery Monthly reporting Facilitating task mapping Understanding and reporting on Expense v Capital plans Knowledge and experience:- Graduate Accountant with the relevant post qualification experience ACA/CIMA/ACCA IT Finance FP&A experience High level of analytical ability and process analysis High orientation to on-time delivery Strong Systems and Excel knowledge Commercial Acumen There could be potential for this 12M FTC to convert to a permanent opportunity.
