THE COMPANY: As a Data Engineer you'll we part of a company looking to expand 3-fold over the next 12 months, joining at an exciting time in their development. Offering an expanding dataset and autonomy over projects, you'll be joining a cross-functional team set on one common goal to build a market-best data and analytics function. THE ROLE: You'll have the opportunity to build out a new platform and team at this dominant retailer, with the chance to shape the technological roadmap for the future. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following: Build bespoke ETL pipelines in Python, catering to your Data Scientist counterparts needs. Orchestrate, ingest, transform, and present data business-wide to internal stakeholders using Tableau/PowerBI, appropriately addressing business problems. Own the transformation of the existing platform, cleaning data catalogues and improving analytical insight across the entire company. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful applicant must have the following skills, attributes, and experiences. Educated to a bachelor's degree level in Computer Science or a related field. Strong commercial experience with not SQL and No-SQL databases. Proven experience working with Python building ETLs in a cloud software (AWS/GCP/Azure). A familiarity and knowledge of productionising and deploying ML models. THE BENEFITS: The successful applicant will receive a salary - dependent on experience - between £65-£75k.
