Overview
Team Leader - Asset Finance SW London £35,000-£37,000 bonus benefits We are currently handling an excellent opportunity for the Asset Finance division of a European bank, for a Team Leader within the New Business department. The role will involve: Leading, motivating and developing a team who deal with new business proposals and ensure that they have the correct documentation to be processed for activation and pay-out Assisting the Head of New Business with the running of the department Ensuring that contracts and other documentation is correct and in line with the company’s policies Building relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring that high levels of service are provided within defined timescales Ensuring quality and accuracy of the team’s output Checking and authorising invoices for pay-out Chasing any outstanding deal document requirements Suggest changes to processes to improve service Preparing reports Managing change process Writing of work instructions and rolling out of training Assisting with system enhancements Managing and prioritising team’s workload Carrying out team appraisals Monitoring sickness and absence, and managing holiday to ensure the business has coverage as required Providing training for new team members Identifying development needs and addressing as necessary The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Educated to minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) with English and Maths at grade C or above Experience within the Asset Finance industry Supervisory experience The ability to lead, motivate and develop their team Strong leadership skills Accuracy and attention to detail Customer service focused Able to prioritise with strong time management skills Team player with the willingness to be flexible when required
