Overview
Our client, based in Reading, is currently hiring for a Junior Developer to collaborate with Product Owners, to closely understand requirements, and implement solutions that are simple and useable, but often complex under-the hood. Responsibilities Collaborating with the principle developers, architects, designers, testers and product owners to produce the highest quality software. Developing, tailoring, configuring and deploying sites. Supporting external clients post deployment. Ensuring systems are designed for optimum performance, scalability and flexibility. Adhering to coding standards including implementing exception logging, auditing and error handling where necessary. Producing and keeping updated technical and design documentation at all levels of the site development lifecycle. Requirements Working understanding of: C#, ASP.NET, Web API HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript. Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills. Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude. Computer Programming Experience Studying towards BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Strong level of competency with Office 365 products. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm Our client offers an excellent remuneration package and excellent career progression prospects.
