HR Advisor role with a manufacturing company in Uxbridge. Competitive salary. Excellent pension and hours Your new company An established company in the business of the design, development, manufacturing, supply and support of high performance industrial components Your new role Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Advisor will provide HR support on a day-to-day basis. Liaising with and supporting the HR Director to provide a comprehensive HR service to managers and employees within the organization, delivering a customer focused, comprehensive, pragmatic, and high level of service in line with the company's policies, procedures and legal requirements Principal Activities Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business Preparing the monthly payroll and pensions with Finance Benefits and insurance administration Supporting managers on recruitment and selection strategies Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff Taking the lead on absence management Keeping databases and employee records and files up to date Identifying development needs Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation Supporting the HR Director with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation's objectives Assist with the headcount planning process. Prepares documentation and reports where appropriate Supporting the management of the apprentice programme. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience Previous HR experience in manufacturing environment Organisational and administrative skills Proven work experience as an HR advisor or similar role Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff Hands-on experience with HR systems Able to juggle multiple demands Positive, proactive approach to problem solving Knowledge of employment legislation Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business Ability to design clear and fair company policies Driven and determined Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly What you'll get in return Salary £40,000 - £45,000 Pension 8% Bonus Hours Mon - Thur: 9.00 - 5.30 Fri: 9.00 - 1.30 What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
