Overview
Merseyside Job of the Month Great Benefits & Rewards Adele Carr Financial Recruitment are working in collaboration with a privately backed SME in Liverpool who are entering a period of re-structure. As a result, the CFO is seeking a commercial, solid, number two to join the business on a full time, permanent basis. With a commercial focus, this newly created position will strengthen the Finance department's position, providing great insight and support to the Finance Director. Core responsibilities include; production of financial reports, (P&L, balance sheet), cost management, capex, treasury, flash reporting, ad hoc project analysis and year end. The ideal applicant will be a proven, fully qualified Finance Manager (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) who offers an impressive commercial background leading budgeting/forecasting whilst managing the progress and development of the accounts team. Due to the nature of the business, it would be highly beneficial to be able to demonstrate how you adapt to the challenges of work, managing various stakeholder relationships, market trends and reporting. You will be a competent leader who enjoys engaging with the wider business, providing a positive, collaborative working environment. Experience of continuous improvement, identifying areas for improvement, implementing change will be a core area of the role. A self-motivated individual with a pro-active approach to work is essential and the newly appointed leader will enjoy the challenge of making this role their own and over time, work towards a succession plan.
