EMPLOYEE RELATIONS CASE MANAGERS REQUIRED FOR AN ASAP START BASED IN CENTRAL BIRMINGHAM £180-216 PER DAY MINIMUM 6 MONTHS My client is a large growing company and due to a company restructure they are now looking for multiple experienced ER Case Managers to join them on an interim contract basis. These are key positions for the business as essentially the Case Managers will deal with end to end cases managing redundancy processes, absence, capability, grievance and assisting managers with processes and timescales. Ideally the successful candidate will have worked for the private sector within a large organisation with dedicated case management teams. [ The role ] - Working in a team with the provide high quality HR advice and guidance to managers across a range of HR subject areas including: Absence, Group Income Protection Claims and well being management Discipline and grievance Performance and capability Redundancy Queries on terms and conditions of employment Develop good working relationships with stakeholders in the organisation to build confidence in the quality of HR advice and support that is provided to line managers and colleagues To ensure work is prioritised and delivered to timescales, escalating as appropriate Manage a caseload of Employee Relations (ER) cases (end to end), supporting the business to ensure that the best possible outcomes are delivered for all parties Comfortable maintaining a detailed case file on our case management system for each managed ER case Acknowledging correspondence, identifying Investigators and Chairs along with the Heads of HR and the business, agreeing time-lines and methodology for investigations, coaching line managers on drafting the reports, structuring allegations, outcome, letters and briefing documents, including future recommendations to the business, as required Develop close relationships with colleagues in Centre of Excellence within HR, particularly with the Heads of HR, and keeping them updated on time-lines and complex ER case developments for their respective client groups Providing commercial advice in line with the organisations policies and procedures Looking up best practice documents or letters on Xpert HR, if our existing policies or templates do not match the specific needs of a case [ Person and skills required ] Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD level 5 (or qualified by experience) Minimum 2-3 years of end to end case management experience Knowledge and practical application of UK employment legislation Ability to think outside the box and work to own initiative Ability to multitask a number of cases and working autonomously to find practical solutions within tight deadlines Communication skills with the ability to produce documents, reports, presentations with ability to advise managers/employees of all levels Experience of working in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment with multiple demanding stakeholders If you believe you have the skills/experience for this exciting opportunity please apply ASAP
