Keen to remain hands on within a role? Want to work for a FTSE 100 company? Role: We are seeking a Lead Test Engineer to join an award winning FTSE 100 company to lead a teams of 5 testers who deliver a high level of software solutions in a collaborate environment. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience of Automation Testing, Manual Testing, API / API's, Stakeholder Management, Testing Strategy, and complex products or data focused products Responsibilities: Influence stakeholders to establish / achieve goals (justifying why changes are necessary) Define / implement effective test strategies / release test plans Collaborate with product design and architecture teams to ensure quality throughout the development life cycle. 70/30 split of hands on and leadership experience. Coordinate efforts to advance our quality focused engineering practises. Work as part of the QA management team to ensure departmental skills evolve to meet the changing requirements of business. Strategic projects to improve the effectiveness of the Global Technology group. Full line management responsibility for senior test engineers. Helping team members identify opportunities for career growth and implement challenging personal development plans.
