Overview
We are recruiting for a Speciality Doctor - Female PICU to join the team in Beckton, East London. You will be providing psychiatric care within a female PICU service. You will closely work with a committed MDT and assist the Consultant Psychiatrist in providing day-to-day medical expertise for care delivery and clinical leadership. Personal development opportunities exist by way of an academic program for medical staff. There will also be the opportunity to undertake clinically relevant research, audit and contribute to the unit quality improvement initiatives. This post provides an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist, tertiary-level service and for the successful candidate to contribute to the development of the services as they respond to the changing healthcare landscape. You will have: Full GMC registration with post registration experience Relevant experience within a personality disorder service An up to date record of Continued Professional Development (CPD) MRCPsych or equivalent is desirable In return, you will receive: Salary up to £90,000 (depending on experience) Study leave to attend CPD opportunities, conferences etc. Monthly CPD Grand Rounds where you will attend educational meetings and get the opportunity to meet fellow psychiatrist from across the region.
