Overview
I am currently recruiting for a Residential Support Assistant to work within a Residential Setting in Rotherham. This role will be starting ASAP and is 37 hours per week. The role will consist of a mixture of AM, PM and Double Shifts. This role has the potential of becoming a permanent role should you enjoy it. The children that live in this house all have high functioning Autism, which can lead to challenging behaviour. The children are all independent and there is no personal care involved. You will need to be enthusiastic and like to play sports, as they like to take the children out of the house to exercise as much as possible. You will be required to help them with whatever tasks they need support with. To be considered for this role you must – Have worked with children with Learning Difficulties within a similar setting before Have a full clean driving licence Be available to work a mixture of AM, PM and Double Shifts Be enthusiastic about playing sports and outside activities with the children Have an up to date DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through PK Education If you would like to apply for this role please send in your CV now as this role will start ASAP If you would like to see the other roles we have in and around South Yorkshire then please see the P Education website.
