A FinTech based organisation which was founded nearly 20 years ago, my clients have gone from strength to strength, with their European usage growing by 114% last year and transactional reach of £5billiion globally. My clients work with companies across the globe and because of operational growth my clients are looking for a Senior System Developer to join their company on a full-time permanent base. The Role This is a hands-on role Senior Developer role where you will demonstrate technical leadership and mentor less experienced colleagues. You will be work within a small, multi-skilled agile team developing solutions that expand the existing products or result in completely new products. You will also have the ability to coordinate small sub-groups as required and be able to manage multiple competing priorities. You will be working on the core platform, providing the Web Service APIs or working on other products providing Web UI views or data trends for the merchants and payment providers. What You Need to Succeed You will need to have experience in what it takes to deliver a highly scalable, highly reliable enterprise application with large numbers of transactions and high volumes of data. You will be someone who constantly strives to improve themselves in all aspects of development ranging from technical skills through to processes and teamwork. In addition, you will need to have the following: An analytical mind with problem-solving skills, on your own or brainstorming with colleagues Good knowledge of SQL Server development using Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Views Design skills using DDD, OO, Design Patterns Strong communication skills, both spoken and written Excellent knowledge of .NET technologies including C# investigatory skills, able to find, outline and fix issues that arise in the system You will also need to have the drive to acquire new skills and having any of the following is also beneficial but not essential: Web UI Technologies with Javascript, React & Redux A good understanding of third-party integration technologies Experience in multi-threaded applications Working knowledge with “Big Data” technologies on AWS cloud Experience with mobile application development Appreciation of Functional Programming concepts and application DevOps appreciation with container technology Docker, Kubernetes What You Get In Return My clients offer the opportunity for you to grow with great personal development opportunities to attend training courses and conferences and to be mentored by exceptional people.
