Test Analyst – Edinburgh - £30000 per annum Benefits package 2i Resourcing are working with a Hardware and Firmware organisation to recruit a Test Analyst for their growing team based in Edinburgh. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ·Plan and execute system test and verification for all firmware developments projects ·Working with firmware and electronics team to debug issues raised during test ·Ensuring overall product robustness ·Plan and execute system test for all analytics software developments ·Work alongside electronics engineer verify system performance, battery life, RFID range, BLE range etc ·Support mechanical engineer on core vibration measurement performance testing ·Produce and maintain product development lifecycle documentation within ISO9001 QMS Technical support •Provide high level technical support to operations team and act is a bridge between operations and R&D •Maintain technical product literature such as user manuals and data sheets •Product qualification •Develop firmware test and release procedures alongside the project manager to ensure robust product qualification and smooth release to market •Support manufacturing acceptance and product qualification and certification test requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE •Experience with hardware and embedded software testing •Experience in software and cloud based software testing •Understanding of product development lifecycle documentation •Customer or technical support experience would be highly desirable Please send your CV in the first instance.
