Binding Authority Technician, City, Salary c. £28,000, working for a global Lloyd's Broker. Your new company Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused, are growing in all areas and have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Technical team a permanent position in the London office as a Binding Authority Technician has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician means you will be responsible for the production of debit/credit notes and chasing, receiving and processing bordereaux premiums as well as submitting all documents to the Bureau. You will also be responsible for maintaining statistical information such as profit commissions. Other duties will include assisting the Technical team with processing, technical queries and other ad hoc duties as and when required. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician, with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, handling Binding Authorities will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have high attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have knowledge of Excel and Outlook. You will be able to manage and control your own personal effectiveness, including time management and priority setting during this role.
