Overview
North American Binder Technician Your new company Your new job working as a North American Technician Job will be working at an independent Lloyd's insurance and reinsurance broker specialising in providing bespoke solutions to support their clients' growth and success. Your new brokers are growing from strength to strength and pride themselves on providing a wide range of specialist insurance solutions provided to businesses, insurance brokers and trade associations. Due to growth within the North American division, a permanent position for a NA Binding Authority Technician has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a NA Binding Authority Technician will be working directly with the placing/producing Brokers you will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of their Binding Authorities including distribution of monthly premium bordereau, risk level data. Preparing MRC slips and endorsements for Binding Authority and some Open Market Property and Casualty business. Liaising with brokers and underwriters to understand the needs and the time factors of the work involved and also preparing market presentations. Other duties will include submitting line slips and the companies binding authorities as well as carrying out profit commissions, preparing monthly earned to incurred figures and sending to Underwriters. Produce Binding Authorities on new and renewal business to ensure: expiring endorsements and/or amendments (as applicable) are incorporated; insurer amendments are updated as well as analysis of performance of Binding Authorities What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician dealing with North American Binding Authority risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be technically astute and have an excellent working knowledge of preparing Technical documentation including MRC slips and endorsements. You will also have extensive experience of working alongside Brokers.
