Overview
Binding Authority Technician (Team Leader), City, Salary up to £55,000, working for a global Lloyd's Broker. Your new company Your new job working as a Binder Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused, are growing in all areas and have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Technical team a permanent position in the London office as a Binder Technician has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician (Team Leader) means you will be responsible for the production and renewal of binding authorities, slips and endorsements. You will also be responsible for submitting documents to the Bureau and as team leader you will be responsible for at least 5 Binding Authority Technicians and the overseeing of the DA slip team. Other duties will include the amendment of wordings/slips where appropriate and other ad hoc duties as and when required. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician, handling Binders will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have high attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and preferably Outlook. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be able to manage and control your own personal effectiveness, including time management and priority setting during this role.
