Overview
A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Financial Services candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to take their next step and has previously worked as a senior team member / supervisor. This role is with a large Investment Management firm based in Liverpool City Centre and they are looking for an Assistant Manager within one of their operations teams. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of the Account Closures and Deceased Accounts teams to ensure Transfers, Probates and Closures are performed accurately and efficiently by the teams. A typical day in this role will involve: Supporting the department manager in running the team, ensuring tasks are allocated effectively and any escalated issues are dealt with appropriately Assist in the production of Management Information Monitor the resolution of reconciliation issues Ensure the accuracy of procedural documents and delegate the updating of those documents effectively to the team Manage and motivate team members on a daily basis and through monthly 1:1 meetings Dealing with change, both process and resource related Keep up to date with regulatory requirements and change ensuring any risk/impact is considered Experience you will have: 2 years Financial Services experience minimum - Investments is desirable Can demonstrate strong leadership skills, ideally will have experience as a senior team member / supervisor Experience in account closures would be ideal however all FS experience will be considered Methodical and conscientious approach to work Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel Qualifications: Ideally looking for someone with the Investment Operations Certificate Working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodology desirable If you have all the above requirements for the Financial Services Assistant Manager - Closed Accounts, then please apply now using the link below.
