Overview

Head of Legal Services Regulatory Body £50,000 - £65,000 South West London I am looking for a “Head of” candidate that has proven experience and knowledge of the regulatory/ombudsman environment. You will be managing a team of legal and compliance employees ranging from Complaints Customer Services up to Ombudsman level. The Role - Developing department strategy, developing annual business plan and delivering against departmental objectives - Leading the Dispute Resolution team, including Inbound contact (Consumer Contact team) and Case resolution teams (Case Investigators, Adjudicators and Ombudsman) - Developing, coaching and supporting team members to achieve best results, including managing the Performance Development Review process for all direct reports - Continuously striving to implement best practice and processes across the department - Driving standards to improve consumer and accredited business satisfaction across the service - Engaging stakeholders and maintaining a positive representation Experience, Knowledge and Person Specification - Experience of working in a high-paced complaint handling environment - Highly self-motivated individual with a positive attitude - Comfortable with communicating clearly at all levels - Capable of communicating to consumers across all channels effectively and with empathy - Demonstrable experience of effective leadership, and staff management/development - Understanding of capacity planning and forecasting - Experience of budget management and reporting KPIs - Experience of project management and implementation - Customer-centric approach and the ability to engage with professional audiences at a senior level - Methodical approach to work and delivering on defined objectives - Strong organisational/time management skills, and the ability to implement/improve policies and administrative processes - Detail-oriented, with confidence and professionalism - People Management experience over a large team, both strategically and operationally - A team player, inspirational leader with great interpersonal skills and able to share a passion for our values - An understanding of reporting and ability to produce reports. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, notably Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Our mission: To be the leading Executive Secretarial & Support recruitment consultancy in London, for employers and jobseekers alike.
