Overview
An interim HR Project Manager opportunity to work for a public sector organisation managing the delivery of the organisational restructure, supporting all aspects of the consultation and implementation process. Your role will be to support managers on the organisational change project, ensuring that people considerations are at the heart of the workforce planning and employment legislation practices are followed through consistently. With the support of the Head of HR & OD, you will ensure that all programme tasks are completed on time, in line with the Organisational Change Policy raising any risks and challenges accordingly and in a timely manner. Establishing yourself as Project Manager for the staff consultation process, you will be responsible for ensuring that statutory obligations are met and staff and their representatives are engaged in the process throughout. You will also be responsible for ensuring on-going monitoring of the equality and inclusion impact assessment raising any concerns about adverse impact with the Head of HR & OD. Leading on the development of a response to consultation, you will provide clarity on next steps and associated timelines. You will work closely with managers to increase organisational capacity and capability through the organisational change project. You will provide advice, support and coaching to Managers on a regular basis, often on sensitive and complex employment matters, to ensure that staff issues are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
