Overview
IT Business Analyst, Payments, Banking, London, I’m working with Mizuho who is a global bank who my director has been working with for the last 20 years. A great time to join them going through organic growth we have placed 300 people in the last few years. They are looking for a Business Analyst with payments experience to initially help in the migration of Swift over to ISO20022 standard working over the front, middle and back-office functions. A great opportunity to learn other workstreams. This role reports directly into the head of development a chap called David who is one of the most dynamic leaders we have worked with. Joining a newly formed development team where the team is encouraged to develop and not be pigeonholed. Responsibilities of Business Analyst, Payments Gather business requirements for new and existing software applications. Support the Delivery Team through the full Software Development Lifecycle Adherence to Business Analysis standards and targets. Manage small Project deliverables - Planning, coordinating monitoring and reporting Work to tight timescales, be commercially aware and can work well within a team structure Providing documentation and updates to the Business. Key Skills of Business Analyst, Payments Good understanding of the SDLC. (Essential) Experience working through the fall project life cycle. (Essential) Ability to understand business user requirements. (Essential) Excellent stakeholder arrangement. (Essential) Good analytical skills, able to contribute to major business change. (Essential) Self-assured, dynamic, open to ideas, able to influence others (Essential) Knowledge of Payments - SEPA, SWIFT, BACS. (Essential) OPF Platform Experience. (Desirable) Regulatory Reporting - Mifid, EMIR. (Desirable) Market Data - Bloomberg, Refinitiv. (Desirable) Loans, Money Market, Trade Finance. (Desirable) Derivative and FX Products.
