Overview
A well established Lloyd's insurer in London seeks a Compliance Analyst. This role sits in the Risk Management & Compliance department and you will be part of a small team. As a Compliance Analyst, you will provide effective support on the day to day compliance and corporate governance activities. Responsibilities will include researching, interpreting and reporting on key and revelant components of FCA and Lloyd's regulations as applying to the Group's current regulated activities, along with those arising from future strategic developments. You will assist in the monitoring of Group Compliance, the development of the effectiveness of controls applying to the management of risks, and assisting with the maintainance of an effective governance structure, including the provision of Management Information and company secretarial support. You will also provide paralegal support where required. The successful candidate will have: Experience of working in a Compliance role in the Lloyd's insurance market Experience of undertaking research/analysis Excellent attention to detail A conscientious and highly diligent manner and approach Internal stakeholder management skills An ability to deal competently with pressure and prioritise workloads Good knowledge of standard office IT applications A stint of working for a law firm or a degree in Law would be a bonus as the role will include handling complaints which will involve legal mediation.
