Job description: Fyte are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer?in their search for a Production Planner.? Based in Glasgow, the Production Planner will be required to plan, control and coordinate all production activities to ultimately meet customer requirements as efficiently and effectively as possible. They will also be required to schedule production orders in line with capacity and availability of resources and materials and prioritise work to optimise the full use of all resources, in addition, providing comprehensive planning support to all aspects of the operation. Applicants must have a business degree or equivalent HND / HNC within relevant industry and a minimum 3 years' experience of hands on experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment using ERP/MRP/SAP processes.? They must also have a working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system as well as being proficient in Word, Excel & Other MS Office Applications.? Experience in production planning and demonstrable use of MRP system is also required alongside?an understanding in planning software / applications / tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera P3, SAP planning application).
