Overview
Working for a successful organisation in Maidstone you will support and assist the Warehouse Management Team to achieve the companies financial, operational and customer service objectives of the site. The role will control the warehouse operations on a day to day basis, ensuring compliance with agreed standards and procedures. You will provide an intermediary between customer service, transport and warehouse personnel with the aim of improving quality, cost and customer service performance. You will also improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the warehouse operation identifying best practice for handling, labour requirements, warehouse utilisation and mechanical handling equipment It is essential that you have previous experience of managing a team of warehouse operatives with proven experience of operational improvement.
