Overview
Global Desktop Operations Manager A leading global online fashion retailer is looking to recruit a Global Desktop Operations Manager to lead their desktop support and architecture teams across the UK, US and APAC to deliver the best possible quality of desktop service, support and systems to their rapidly growing business. Reporting to the Head of Group IT Service and Projects, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategy and development of Corporate IT services. It is essential that the successful candidate has a strong background in managing desktop support teams in global locations as well as having a solid experience of desktop operations. Key Requirements: · Exceptional Team Leadership - staff motivation & organization · Strong communication skills · Experience working across multiple locations and time zones · Experience mentoring and developing staff Key Responsibilities: · Managing Desktop Support teams across all sites to ensure SLAs are being met · Managing Desktop Architecture team to ensure delivery of excellent products and services · Ownership of IT related problems · Use ITIL methodology where appropriate for Service Support · Ensure operational support of the business 24/7x 365. Key Skills & Experience: · Experience managing large diverse desktop related technologies · Passionate about technology with a keen awareness of current IT trends · Clear understanding of the ITIL framework, preferably with practitioner experience · Flexible in your approach Location: West London Start: ASAP Salary: £65-70k Benefits: 10% bonus, private healthcare, life insurance, 5.5% pension contribution, 40% discount, 25 days holiday, interest free travel loan
