Don't just use the tools, build them We are working with a number of companies who are looking to build up their SRE function from scratch and need your expertise and leadership qualities to help them. This is a true opportunity of Dev meets Ops with 50% of the role coding directly onto the platform (built in k8's.) Utilising your background in DevOps/ SRE/ Site Reliability engineering… whatever you happen to call yourself, you will spend half your time fire-fighting, maintaining and automating with tools such as Terraform, Helm, Prometheus and Puppet. The other half of your time bringing your passion for coding to the fore be it in Go (there preference) or any similar language that you feel suitable, Python, Java or Clojure perhaps? Exposure to distributed systems would be beneficial and a solid cloud experience is essential, which ever it may be - here you have the chance to work on a platform adaptable to all the big players touching on AWS, GCP, Azure and Alibaba.
