NOC Engineer / Network Operations Centre Engineer - Windows Server / Desktop / Cisco Networks We are looking for a NOC / Network Operations Engineer to join a leading and multiple award winning service provider, to monitor, troubleshoot and configure a large, European wide Network Operations Centre providing services to hundreds of customers spanning thousands of servers Servicing a wide range of diverse clients, from SME to Enterprise companies, we require an engineer with some experience of Cisco Networks and/or MS Server based environments and desktops, to carry out this key role within the organisation. You should ideally possess or be working towards CCNA / MCP / MCSA level certifications, or wanting to achieve this. The company will support and fund relevant professional certifications and encourage personal development and progression for the successful NOC / Network Operation Centre Engineer. The day to day responsibilities and complexities of the job will be varied, ranging from proactive network monitoring, troubleshooting, liaising with customers and providing technical support on a range of products, and also the opportunity to work with other network / server engineers on complex projects. The most important thing is to have the desire to learn new things and increase your technical expertise with a broad range of infrastructure, networking and security technologies. Experience required (not all essential): Proven experience of the following technologies within a NOC / Network Engineer / Technical Support role: MS Server / Operating Systems Virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Citrix Backup technologies Routing and switching Ethernet switching LAN and WAN Wireless networking The NOC Engineer / Network Operations Engineer will benefit from an excellent working environment with an expanding organisation who invest heavily in their employee's progression and development.
