Overview
As a Data Engineer you will enable data-driven decisions through cleaning, prepping and transforming data to create valuable insights. You will be passionate about data processing systems with an emphasis on security, compliance and scale-ability so that pre-existing machine learning models can be leverage and deployed. This is a great opportunity to work on the latest tech along side passionate Machine Learning engineers and data scientist. You will also play a major role in shooing between different storage solutions and between different data processing products such Cloud SQL, BigTable, and Datastore. Experience needed: Professional work experience as a data engineer on any Cloud Platform Experience Designing batch ETL pipelines and / or building streaming data pipelines Building and operationalizing data processing systems (DB, warehouses, lakes) Migrating existing MySQL workloads to Google Cloud Platform Experience in big data warehouse and visualisation tools to carry out interactive data analysis Data modeling Programming skills in Golang and/or Python Operationalization of machine learning models Nice to have experience: Experience in big data processing (e.g. Spark, Hadoop) Pipeline graphs visualisation serverless data processing.
