Data Analyst Cardiff Bay Circa £30,000 We're helping to grow the team for an innovative fintech startup in Cardiff and are on the lookout for a dynamic and confident Data Analyst to join the team Our ideal candidate is a passionate and entrepreneurial problem-solver who wants to work in an early stage business, start-up environment. What you'll be doing… This role involves working across the business; responsible for analysing, understanding and building the existing companies' processes and data models. You'll be helping the client improve and scale appropriately. Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years within a BI/MI/Data Analyst role. You'll be a strong problem solver with the ability to translate technical jargon to non-technical individuals. As a start-up you'll be expected to get stuck in, however, general responsibilities will include: Working with SQL, Power BI, Excel/Pivot Tables, Data modeling experience e.g. Tableau Designing, developing and automating reporting solutions within the business Feel confident working across the business, strong communication and problem-solving skills Reporting and presenting business trends and performance to the team Work alongside the Marketing & Product teams, using your data to recommend performance & priorities About you… We're looking for someone who's customer-obsessed but in a good way; needless to say, you are a social person with great communication skills and the talent to motivate people in the right direction. You're comfortable leading the pack and guiding them to the light, issues don't block you you either fix them or find a workaround. Though you don't need 100% of this we're looking for people who: Have experience with small, agile cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and targets. Are proactive with the ability to use your initiative, provide innovative thinking and ideas, and function effectively in a highly dynamic and unstructured environment. Have an analytical approach with the ability to identify actionable insights to optimise the businesses performance Desirable - SaaS / Financial Services background Still here?
