Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the social housing sector. We have been appointed by a housing provider based in North London who are looking to recruit an experience Senior M&E Compliance Officer on an interim contract. Duties as a Senior M&E Compliance Officer will include: Ensuring that the Statutory Compliance function which is responsibility of Housing Property Services is carried out effectively, all actions are allocated and followed up in timely fashion. Where there are concerns regarding non-compliance these to escalated to appropriate level within the business. Managing the relevant contractors, consultants and internal relationships to ensure that all statutory tests and reports (such as FRAs, Water Hygiene, LGSRs) are carried out in time within the policies. Managing the Compliance Data Officer to ensure they fulfil their duties. Providing expert advice and act as the key point of contact for housing compliance responsibilities. Managing contractors to ensure that the data team receive all relevant certification in the required timescales and working closely with other teams to ensure that all follow-on work from PPMs is ordered and completed within the agreed SLA’s. Ensuring all statutory tests and reports (such as FRA’s Water Hygiene, LGSRs) are carried out in time and ensuring where actions are identified, as a result of these, that they are followed up within the agreed timescales and supporting evidence is held on the appropriate systems. To be considered for the position of Senior M&E Compliance Officer you must have the following: Relevant minimum technical qualification e.g. BTEC or HNC in Building or equivalent through training and experience including demonstrating on-going CPD in relation key areas of Statutory Compliance including Gas Safety, Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella and any other relevant area of Statutory Compliance. Track record in a large organisation of managing contracts with responsibility for one or more area of Statutory Compliance. Strong compliance management experience in the housing sector. Experience of managing staff. Excellent knowledge of M&E compliance in housing.
