Overview
Profixed Interiors Ltd are a Reading based commercial construction company who specialise in the interior fit-out sector. We undertake Interior building projects throughout London and the home counties, specifically CAT A and CAT B fit-outs. We are a family run business which has grown from strength to strength since 2007. We pride ourselves in delivering high-end finishes that have the wow factor. We are looking for a multi-skilled Project Manager who takes full responsibilities for London construction projects from technical build direction, site supervision, take-off and procurement through to timely QS valuations, contract commercials and safety requirements. This role is to join our existing team of successful interior fit-out experts. Job Profile: Liaise with our client’s management teams to identify potential new business opportunities and maintain great working relationships; ensuring repeat business and referrals; Attend pre-contract and progress meetings from start to end of project; Advise the best methods of production using your sound knowledge of interior fit-out systems. Give technical direction and specific build advice. Provide effective liaison between all stake holders. Co-ordinate building craftmanship and flow of works. Manage staffing and ensure the correct skills sets are in place. Prepare and organise take-off and procurement of materials throughout the lifecycle of the project to meet programme deadlines; Negotiate prices with key suppliers and customers to ensure profitability; Establish great working relationships with subcontractors and internal staff; Monitor productivity levels, punctuality, attendance and safety practices of the workforce; Co-ordinate price work and daywork levels on site and sign-off subcontractors’ invoices to ensure they meet budgets set out; Survey projects on an ongoing basis to establish quantities and variations. Work closely with the subcontractors and client teams, prepare documentation, obtain purchase orders, agree valuations; Prepare accurate and timely project valuations and application for payments. Evaluate project profitability; Provide effective site coordination to ensure Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards are met; Person & Skills Profile: Sound knowledge of interior fit out systems - partitioning, suspended ceilings, drylining, carpentry; Proven experience of material take-off and procurement; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent people management skills; Self-motivated and able to manage own workload without supervision; Free parking onsite. Office located 1 minute from Theale train station. 30 days holiday per annum. Salary negotiable dependant on experience.
