Overview
Our client an SME manufacturer are looking to appoint a Group Financial controller to manage the financial activity of the group companies. The business is growing and is highly acquisitive, they are looking to triple turnover across 4 sites, with further acquisitions in the next 5 years. This is a key role in the Management Team to manage and oversee the financial activities of the Group. The Group FC will lead review of all financial reporting information at monthly board meetings. The role works closely with the Group MD with a dotted line to the Group This position is suitable for someone who has experience of drafting statutory accounts, managing the year end process, drilling down to the detail to understand the source of issues and work with the team to refine processes and controls to ensure robust financial reporting. Responsibilities include both financial and non financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and forecasting, analytical review, systems improvement to gain efficiencies and interaction with stakeholders both internal and external to report on the numbers.
