Overview
As a result of a surge of new work, this top10 professional services firm is looking for a recently qualified individual to join their award winning special Projects team to work on bespoke projects for a wide variety of clients. Working with all sizes of business, from small owner managed to large listed and international groups, the successful individual will take a hands on role to undertake a variety of accounting projects including: Interim finance roles on a secondment basis Integrated financial forecasting Making improvements to internal management accounts and monthly reporting Project management and liaison Year end accounting support Company 'in house' preparation for year end external audit and compilation of audit packs Reviewing off internal controls and processes Tailoring reports e.g business review for a funding application Designing and implementing new accounting systems and reporting process Quarterly business reviews and reporting thereon Supporting clients during a transaction with hands on compliance and/or advisory work that meets and exceeds client expectations e.g. compiling due diligence information Applicants must be exam qualified (ACA or equivalent) with experience in either technical accounting or audit and have a passion for advising businesses to achieve their potential. Clearly the individual should possess an ability to deliver innovative solutions across a diverse client base as well as a commercial mind set to spot opportunities for future fee generation possibilities. The role would suit an individual in the profession looking for something different or someone who perhaps has made the first move into industry but misses the variety of work the profession offers. This represents a unique client facing position in which you will quickly take the lead in take-on and delivery. Suffice to say future development opportunities (in whatever direction you take) will be greatly enhanced given the variety of work you will undertake.
