About this role This role is key in producing standardised and scalable solution design of assurance controls using data, analytical tools and reporting capabilities across all customer facing business units. You'll have the following responsibilities + Utilises extensive knowledge of business assurance for telecom products and in-depth design understanding of assurance and analytics tools to provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create product requirements. + Maintains business partnering relationships with BT IT Teams, BT Business units, Third Party Service Providers and Third Party Product Vendors to inform development of Group Business Assurance's product vision, road-map and growth opportunitiesEngages with Group Business Assurance internal teams to understand requirements and deliver technical consultancy where required to build up the product requirements through proof of concepts. + Using leadership and agile delivery experience take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner and ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on + Work closely with Product Management to create, maintain and deliver the product backlog according to business value or ROIAs the Design expert develop standard and scalable designs to optimise development timelines and maximise returns + Provide an active role in mitigating risks and issues impacting successful completion of Release/Sprint goals by taking appropriate actions and escalation routes and engaging project/delivery management and business sponsors where appropriate.Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities. + Provide the architecture team with detailed requirements for the data feeds required for the current and future development + Execute periodic governance checks with Group Business Assurance Technical Solution Delivery teams to review and confirm that the control products developed conform to the solution design and BT's enterprise architecture. + As the Assurance Tool champion, develop and provide internal tools training & technical coaching to all Group Business Assurance teams to prepare and promote technical and analytical skills across Group Business Assurance and increase the tool adoption + Promote innovation by leading and/or participating in research and development activities using new technologies, tools and techniques; carrying out realistic trials of new technologies in order to demonstrate their applicability You'll have the following skills & experience Significant years of solution design & architecture experience in telecommunications, technology transformation and delivery. Significant years of experience in Business Assurance & Risk Management domain Significant Years of operational experience working in OSS or BSS for Data and Networking products OR Significant Years of operational experience working in OSS or BSS for Voice Services & Mobility Products products Technical product knowledge and end to end reconciliation experience Expert in analytical data analysis and problem solving Significant Technical Competancy in Technology like:- Hitachi Pentaho or WEDO RAID or RAVN Oracle Suite / PL SQL Reporting Tools like Qlik Sense/Tableau Agile Product Owner certification (SAFE Agilist or SAFE Product Owner) Benefits Competitive salary and on-target bonus plan World-class training and development opportunities 25 days' annual leave (not including bank holidays) Discounted broadband, mobile and TV packages Share option and pension scheme programmes About BT BT has a key role in British society, fostering change and leading technology innovation.
