Overview
One of Scotland's foremost consultancies seeks a Civil Engineer/Technician to join their team in Edinburgh. Your new role As a Civil Engineer/Technician, you will be responsible for the design and drawing of infrastructures, including road works and drainage, on significant projects that are both local to Edinburgh and on the national scale. You will liaise with both conservation engineers, and structural engineers to allow for a streamlined engineering process. As well as this, you'll work closely with external parties, both in the public and private sectors. You'll be deeply involved in the entire life of the design, and will attend meetings to discuss the progress and the design of the infrastructure. What you'll need to succeed You'll need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a real passion for engineering. Competency in Microdrainage, PPS, and AutoCAD is essential to be successful in this role, as is the ability to work independently. A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering is also required.
