Overview

£35,000 Study Support Wilson Blake are currently working with one of Europe's largest retail businesses specialising in sportswear and accessories. They are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to work in their Central London office and business partner extensively with the supply chain teams playing a key role in supporting this area of the business. With over 300 stores currently and ambitious plans to expand over the next few years it is a very exciting time to get involved with the business. Key Responsibilities; Assisting with the monthly management accounts preparation with detailed variance analysis Identify drivers of overspend and develop recommendations to reduce financial risk Business Partner extensively with the supply chain team Robust balance sheet reconciliations Present trend analysis and further findings to senior stakeholders Identify key areas for process improvement Budgeting and forecasting Assist in year-end process and liaise with external auditors Ad-hoc commercial project work with Financial Controller and Finance Director Mentor and develop junior staff members Key Requirements; ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified Degree educated Experience working within a retail business Good Excel skills Proactive self-starter
