Overview
Our Client, a specialist in providing professional advice to expatriates, are looking for a Data and Reporting Developer to join their offices in London forming part of the Management Information and Client Reporting team Responsible for the implementation and enhancement of dashboards, reports and various analytical solutions in a dynamic and ever-growing environment. You will be tasked with aggregating large datasets from heterogeneous sources into a data warehouse that is to be used across the organisation. Key duties and responsibilities Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables Provide timely scheduled management reporting Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements Develop, implement and optimise stored procedures and functions using T-SQL Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements Develop procedures and scripts for data migration Development of high-quality database solutions Manipulate and transform data Perform thorough unit testing Create and maintain project documentation/manuals to stakeholders Technical skills and experience (essential) Good SQL Knowledge Excellent Data Analysis skills Good programming skills Good knowledge of SQL Server reporting, Integration and Analysis services Advanced knowledge of MSOffice Suite and excellent Excel working knowledge Knowledge of .NET framework, Python or similar is a plus Other skills (desirable and advantageous) Proactive, dynamic and versatile Good communication skills Highly organised, rigorous and efficient in time management Strong problem solving and analytical skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities Financial Services experience / knowledge is a plus Able to work extended and / or off-hours as required Occasional travel may be necessary
