Overview
My client - part of a large international insurer - are looking for a junior catastrophe modeller to join their team. Main responsibilities include: - model validation and maintenance - Lloyd's reporting - technical risk pricing (natural catastrophe) and reporting to Underwriters - monitor exposures in specific areas / provide exposure information following catastrophic events - attend relevant seminars and conferences Ideal candidates must have: - a 2:1 or higher in a Geography or relevant degree - excellent communication skills - strong understanding of Catastrophe Modelling / Exposure Management - Knowledge of the Lloyd's market - hold the right to work in the UK
