IT Support Analyst (2 nd Line), Oxford, £25k - £30k plus benefits: IMMEDIATE START (16 month Fixed Term Contract) A leading Oxford based academic organisation is looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst to provide 1 st and 2 nd Line IT Support to internal users either by remote phone support, email or face to face. This role is perfectly balanced between remote helpdesk and hands on installation and troubleshooting plus it will give you the opportunity to get involved with the delivery of IT projects. There is a wealth of knowledge in the department and you will be mentored to push your skills forward and will gain exposure to the very latest technology. The successful IT Support Analyst should possess the following experience and skills: Ideally educated with an IT qualification, degree, A-Level, BTEC, NVQ or equivalent. Experience with hardware and software installation, fault-finding and resolution for PCs running on Windows or Apple Macs Experience supporting a wide variety of software applications. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Any experience of the following technologies would be highly desirable: Experience of Linux operating systems. Expertise with IT hardware and/or network communications.
