Infrastructure Engineer City of London £40,000 - £50,000 per annum benefits Platform | Infrastructure | VMware | Hyper V | ILTIL | ITMS | Server | Storage | Backup Spring Technology is currently working in partnership with a leading institution to recruit a Infrastructure Engineer based in the City of London. Within this role you'll support the running of severs, storage and backup platform infrastructure, hosted via HyperV and VMware. Responsibilities: Successfully deliver server, storage and backup infrastructure services within SLA's Manage the resolution of major incidents Responsible for security, backups and monitoring Responsible for mentoring junior staff within the platform team Responsible for identifying/undertaking service improvements Taking ownership of projects through to delivery Requirements: Strong experience of VMware and Hyper-V Microsoft Windows Server operating systems Storage solutions Experienced in working with IT service management, including change, incident, service improvement and problem management Experience of working with ITIL based Service processes and functions including ITSM tools. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating systems Excellent working knowledge of HPE Converged systems including blade servers & chassis, HP Virtual Connect switches & HP network switches Familiarity of Linux based server operating systems Familiarity of object based storage solutions Familiarity of public cloud solutions Sound interesting?
