Overview
Purchase Ledger Assistant required for a long term contract opportunity, working for a well established business based in Birmingham. With a view to start immediately, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the purchase ledger function. Your daily duties will include; matching batching and coding invoices, processing payments by BACs and cheque, reconciling supplier statements , resolving supplier queries and other ad hoc duties as required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior Invoicing Clerk, to build and expand their experience within accounts payable. You must have excellent interpersonal skills with excellent attention to details and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a computerised accounting software. My client is a well established business based in Birmingham City Centre with an open and friendly culture.
