Overview

Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a long term contract opportunity, working for a well established business based in Birmingham City Centre. Working as part of a small and friendly team, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the purchase ledger function where you will process up to 150 invoices on a weekly basis from start to finish. Your daily duties will include; matching batching and coding invoices, processing payments by BACs and Cheque, reconciling supplier statements, resolving supplier queries, month end duties and other ad hoc duties as required. My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who is able to join the business and hit the ground running. You will have outstanding attention to detail coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting software.
