Salary - circa £50,000 dependent on skills and experience The term Operational Technology (OT) covers all the technology and assets used to monitor and control Anglian Water's operational collection, treatment and distribution processes. Without correctly managed and secured OT, Anglian Water simply couldn't operate. Innovations and improvements to our OT services will be key to successfully delivering our services for the future. What will you be doing? Covering a geographic area spanning from the Humber to Southend and Buckinghamshire to the East Coast, Anglian Water's telemetry network is one of the largest in Europe. As Principal Technical Lead within our Digital Operations team, you'll play a senior role in ensuring that IRIS, the mission-critical system at the heart of this network along with its supporting applications and protocols provides uninterrupted 24/7 365 support to our business. In the role, you'll be the Subject Matter Expert in the operation and optimisation of our master systems. You'll provide technical mentoring and training for our Digital Operations teams and ensure that new services delivered by projects are safely transitioned into BAU. You'll support our engineers in post-incident investigations and root cause analysis activities and lead on resolution of technical Risks and Issues within the team and contribute to the development of future services as well as optimising and promoting the use of existing functionality to support operations in managing their assets in the smartest possible way. What do you need? Our new OT Principal Technical Lead will be able to demonstrate significant working experience and knowledge of Schneider Electric's ClearSCADA, EDNA and WITS and Medina protocols. As well as this you'll: Be able to effectively mentor and develop engineers' skills Have exceptional analytical skills Have sound knowledge of manufacturer roadmaps Be able to demonstrate supporting current Telemetry system technologies (with heavy focus on ClearSCADA and WITS) Have a good track record in analysis of successful telemetry solutions, programmes and projects Have the ability to produce high quality, accurate written reports and presentations Have experience of managing IT risks and controls Have experience of working at a management level and advising senior managers Be a strong team player and effective at solving problems Be able to work unsupervised and achieve deadlines What benefits do we offer?
