Hotel Chocolat is growing in the UK as well as internationally, backed by strong financial results for the last year of 14% growth in sales, so if you want the chance to really put your stamp on a role and make it your own, then this is the role for you The job As Technical Manager. your core responsibility will be to design and deliver the technical agenda as well as drive performance through your team to deliver the high standards expected by customers of a luxury brand. You will be responsible for ensuring technical compliance across the operations of two manufacturing sites, dealing with a large portfolio of different products. This role is key in ensuring that the business is operating in a safe and legal way and can continue to expand. Core responsibilities: Set the highest standards for food safety and technical compliance Ensuring audit success and supporting site Quality Managers with site audits (BRC, Organic, EHO, FEMAS) Incident management of food safety issues Act as technical lead for the commissioning of all new equipment Build strong influence and cross-functional relationships to ensure that all technical and factory food safety requirements are met Your experience To be considered for the Technical Manager job, you will possess extensive QA / technical experience from within food manufacturing. This role would suit an existing Technical Manager or Senior Quality Manager who is looking for career progression and a role where they can grow with the business. You will have an excellent working knowledge of the latest BRC standards and experience working to high standards i.e. supplying to M&S. You will also be HACCP (Level 3) and Food Safety (Level 3) qualified. Lead Auditor would be advantageous. A resilient and can-do attitude is essential, you will have the ability to drive performance through a team whilst identifying areas for improvement. You will also be a strong communicator who thrives on working with others to find solutions. A driving licence is also required. More details The Technical Manager job is based in Cambridgeshire and is paying a highly competitive salary according to individual skills and previous experience. The role is also eligible for up to 10% bonus based on overall company profit and performance.
