Overview
We are excited to be recruiting exclusively for our Fife based client who have an enviable reputation in the manufacturing industry. The Sales Director is looking to take on a Senior PA/Account Manager to support him in an extremely fast-paced and challenging role. Your role will encompass a combination of PA and Sales/Account Management related responsibilities and your key duties will include: PA duties: Book all travel and hotels for the Sales Director and other senior members of staff across the business Organise, be present, take minutes and distribute notes at all sales and management meetings Create PowerPoint presentations for meetings (internal & external) Diary management where required All general administration support for the Sales Director Sales/Account Management duties: Book appointments with key customers Support and manage key accounts & prospects - Monitor/track/review spent. Call customers/prospects to support and drive growth Attend external meetings with Sales Director where required Organise days out with sales team members Liaise with Marketing Department to ensure a targeted approach to buying groups and national accounts via their portals where applicable. Act as a first point of contact dealing with correspondence and phone calls. Manage diaries and organising meetings and appointments. Organising events and conferences – such as quarterly sales meetin Follow up the Sales Director on important tasks and deadlines. Type, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence. Ensure Commercial Contracts & Rebate deals are renewed as required Conduct research and contacts on behalf of the Sales Director Prepare monthly Sales Management Report in time for Sales Director to review To be suitable for this pivotal and exciting opportunity you must have the following skills, experience and key attributes: Extensive experience working in both a PA/Senior Administration and Sales/Account Management related role Proven experience in a sales related environment Strong IT and organisational skills Ability to deal with extremal businesses including buyers and clients at a senior level Discretion and trustworthiness are vital at all times as you will be dealing with confidential information Outstanding organisation and multi tasking skills Ability to be flexible and adaptable Excellent oral and written communication skills Comfortable being the first point of contact for sales related queries and making outbound calls Driven, motivated and passionate to achieve sales results The ability to be proactive and take the initiative Willing to travel when required The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £28-32k (DOE) as well as all company benefits and generous holidays.
