Overview
Creative Support are looking for an experienced and empathetic individual to support our beautiful and modern supported living services in Meol Brace - Shrewsbury . Within these services we support active and diverse ladies with learning and physical disabilities in their own homes. The ladies we support in these services have a variety of hobbies and interests; musicals, listening to music, shopping, crafting, beauty days and days out. For this role we are looking for warm, positive and dedicated individuals. Your role will include: • Providing practical and emotional support to service users • Maximising service users outcomes by developing daily living skills and promoting independence • Ensuring service users are able to enjoy valued, fulfilling lifestyles and access the local community It is expected that you will work flexibly, including evenings and weekends on a waking night basis, to meet the needs of the service. Experience is not essential for this role. You will have a warm, caring nature, and a commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives. After successful completion of the probationary period, you will automatically be enrolled in the QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma and you will receive on-going training to best meet the needs of the service users.
